January 2024 News

A Note From Our Principal

Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday season! We look forward to spending 2024 with you and your children. I would like to thank you for your generosity over the holidays. The teachers, administrative team, and I truly appreciate all the gifts and notes we received!  These thoughts of appreciation mean so much to us.   I would also like to extend my gratitude to all who contributed to our Holiday Giving Tree initiative.  Collectively, we contributed hundreds of items across all of our campuses in support of the Ronald McDonald House!

As we return to our daily routines, I would like to share an article published by American Montessori Society (AMS)  Follow this link to read up on 5 Tips for Preparing Students After Holiday Breaks

As always, thank you for being part of our Montessori Community and choosing our school for your children.

Sincerely,

Jamie Jennings

We’ll be reading books, making arts and crafts, and discussing the importance of acceptance and belonging. School will be closed January 15 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Photo previewWe would like to congratulate Miss Elizabeth as she will officially began their Montessori Training to become a certified Montessorian in our community this month and into 2025. Miss Jamie will also join this cohort to continue her Montessori Education.  Miss Maxine, Miss Savannah and Miss Cari are in their practicum section of their certification and are striving to finish the program in May 2024.  This program is an important part of Montessori growth in our community and we are so excited to be able to support our teachers and provide career growth opportunities. Our former teacher, Miss Kat, is the director of this education program and we are proud of the hard work she has put forth to make this happen for our community!
