A Note from Our Principal

Dear Families,

As the winter season approaches, we are filled with excitement for the festivities ahead. We believe in creating a nurturing environment that celebrates the rich traditions that make each family unique. This month, our students will delve into different holiday traditions from all corners of the globe through hands-on activities, music, art, and more.

Together, let us make this holiday season a time of warmth, connection, and shared memories.

The start of the school year has been incredibly busy, and I have missed connecting with so many families. I am planning to host a coffee hour, on 12/6 from 7:15-9:15 am. You are welcome to pop by and grab a cup of coffee, sit and visit, or come with specific questions that I can help with. While an RSVP isn’t necessary if you think you can make it, let me know! I want to make sure I have enough coffee!

Sincerely,

Randi Ruzicka

Holiday Celebrations – December 22nd

Primary classrooms will be hosting a small holiday program on December 22nd. The children will sing some songs and then you are invited to mingle in the classroom and enjoy some light refreshments.

Ms. Kristi’s class performance will begin at 9:15 am, Ms. Erin at 9:45 am, Ms. Kendra at 10:15 am, and Ms. Kimber at 10:45 am.

Elementary students will have a winter solstice assembly. Parents are welcome to attend and can stay to participate in a craft and have some hot cocoa.

As a reminder, this day is early release; all students are dismissed at 12:30. You do have the option to take your child(ren) early if you would like to depart as a family after the festivities.

Holiday Giving

Our annual holiday giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer this holiday season while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude towards others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions. This year, we are collecting new card and board games for Ronald McDonald House through December 12th. Thank you for your generosity in helping others in need.

Survey Result Follow-up

Thank you to all our families who took the time to fill out the survey that was sent out over the last couple of months. It has helped identify some great things we are doing in the school and continued to highlight what incredible staff we have. It also helps to identify some common things that we can improve upon. I am always grateful for our opportunity to grow.

Family Referral Bonus

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
