A Note From our Principal
We still have a few more weeks of summer camp and our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year!
Our goal for the 2020-2021 School year, is to return to campus for direct learning under closely controlled COVID standards to allow us to remain on campus. Students whose families are not comfortable returning to campus have the option to enroll in our online schoolhouse. We appreciate all your understanding as we navigate this unprecedented event. Our staff are really excited to get back to work with students in person! Anyone that has yet to receive information regarding our online option, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Kids Helping Kids Campaign
Thank you to everyone for your generous donations for our kids helping kids campaign. Campers learned all about the St. Lukes Children’s Hospital and the meaning behind being stewards of our community. In addition to understanding the needs of this community, campers shared this with parents, made signs, decorated a collection bin, and helped parents choose items for our drive. We collected enough to make 20 families activity bags filled with coloring books or journals, markers, crayons, colored pencils, pencils, glue, stickers, books to read, and a game. This will provide these families with fun activities during their stay at the hospital. At this time, due to restraints, families are limited in the visitations.
Students & Facial Coverings
Due to recent mandates, our school will be requiring students to have a facial covering while at school this fall. In an effort to help our community and be socially responsible, we will support all families with this transition. Our teachers have been modeling the use of facial coverings during the summer camp and talking with students about the why. We will continue this dialogue in the fall as we all become accustom to this new dress code and finding balance with our in class work as well as using our outdoor spaces. Thank you for your support.

If you are not currently receiving photos and reports for your children throughout the week, you can easily change this by downloading the Links 2 Home app on your phone. Type in “Links 2 Home” in the search bar for the Apple App or Google Play Store. After downloading the link, you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school. Be sure to check your spam and mark the app emails as safe, sometimes they end up in spam or junk files. Contact the office at 208-939-6333 if you need assistance.
Updating your information in Alma
Have you changed your email address, mailing address, or phone number? Need to add or remove emergency contacts? You can do this anytime in Alma. If you need help logging in our accessing the system please let us know! 208-939-6333
