A Note From Our Principal
Our teachers have been busy planning special activities to make this summer fun and memorable for our students. It will look different this year, it will continue to feature activities that support learning outcomes aligning with your child’s developmental level. Please keep an eye out for special communications about activities and events, and about how you can support your child’s learning at home. As always, we are here with any questions or concerns you may have. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Kim Brooks
Health and Safety Measures
The health and safety of our children and families is always our highest priority. To mitigate the risks of COVID-19 while children are in our care, we have adopted additional health and safety measures based on CDC guidelines, state and local regulations, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Visit our school website to learn more information.
Links 2 Home App Usage
We know that summer is a busy time for our families, and want to communicate school happenings as clearly as possible to ensure that no one is left out. As a reminder, daily reports are sent via email each day, but our Links 2 Home app keeps all school communications in one place and is always accessible. The app also allows to you communicate absences to your child’s teacher, leave drop-off notes, and read teacher and administrative notes in detail.
If you’re not a current app user, we encourage you to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app today. You will need to login with the email address you use for Alma. Please let us know if you have issues logging into Links 2 Home!
Daily Things to Remember
Our students love spending time outdoors and we want to make sure we take ample advantage of the summer weather before it gets too hot. If your child is attending school in the classrooms, please make sure they have the following items available at school:
• Applied sunscreen prior to arriving at school. (Sunscreen application permission for students enrolled in after school. Please email Jordan (jordan@boisemontessori.com) to give virtual permission for application.)
• Summer appropriate change of clothes at school
• Indoor and outdoor shoes. We do require closed toes shoes for the playground and indoor slippers for the classroom.
• Morning and afternoon snacks (packed/marked in your child’s lunchbox)
• Nap bedding must completely fit, zipped, into your provided nap bag.
Summer Camp Update!
School will be closed July 1-3. A revised schedule of weekly camp learning themes and summer confirmation will be emailed out separately to all enrolled families. Summer wait list families should expect an update from Miss Randi by June 12th.

June 11—Water Play Day (Students will need long sleeve rash guard, closed toe water shoes, labeled towel, and change of clothing)
