Welcome Back to School!

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer break and are feeling the excitement of the back to school buzz in our valley!  This last week all of our teachers have been working on professional development, team building and welcoming all our new students and families into our community.   During the summer we did say goodbye to a few teachers, Miss Martha and Miss Courtney.  While we will miss them, we are excited to introduce a few new faces to our staff this year.   Our classroom teachers this year are as follows:

Thank you to all of our new families who took the time to come visit us on Friday’s Open House!   We are excited to have all of our families together again on our first day of school; Tuesday, September 4th.

September Dates to Remember

9/4/18:    First Day of School!  (No Elective classes will be held September 4-7)

9/6/18:    Back to School Night from 6-7 pm  All parents are welcome to come in and talk with your child’s teacher about the school year ahead.   Teachers will go over their planning for the school year, announce their volunteer opportunities for the class, and answer any questions you may have.   Due to a lack of space, this event will not have childcare provided and is geared for parent attendance.   In our lobby we will have some of our school vendors and administration available to talk about electives, hot lunch programs and any billing questions you may have.

9/14/18:  Spanish circle begins.   Miss Rose-Marie will be bringing her Spanish program “Languages Unlocked” to all Primary classrooms every Friday.   For your child’s 30 minute Spanish Circle time, see your classroom’s posted schedule.    New this year, our Pre-Montessori students will be participating in a sign language circle on Fridays with Miss Kimber.

9/15/18:  School Fundraiser Ends  If you are looking for a way to support our school and do some shopping, the lobby is the place for you!   On display this month are items from Charelston Wrap.  Items purchased during our fundraising event will go back to support our school.   You can order as easily as submitting an order form or by going online.   For more information, see Miss Jamie.
