A Note From Our Principal

As we enter the beautiful month of May, I am excited to share all the fun spring activities our students have been enjoying. From unit studies, conferences, releasing ladybugs for Earth Day, our students (and parents) have been very busy! This month, we will celebrate our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, continue our gardening projects, and learn more about nature and ways to be environmentally friendly. We are happy to see a shift in the seasons are excited to spend more time outside!

Kindly,

Jamie

Teacher Appreciation Week | May 8-12

Pack your bags, grab your passport, and get ready to embark on an exciting adventure–it’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we need your help to make it a trip they’ll never forget!

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to come along for the ride and help us show our appreciation for all the amazing teachers who make a difference in our lives. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a newbie looking to explore, we have a role for you!

So, don’t miss the bus! Join us for a week of fun, gratitude, and adventure. Let’s give our teachers the appreciation they deserve – and who knows, maybe we’ll even earn some extra credit along the way!

TEACHER SWAG BAGS

Throughout the week you will see swag bags in the lobby to fill for your teacher that will be presented at the end of the week. Use this opportunity to give notes of appreciation, gifts, snacks, anything you feel you’d like to contribute!

ROAD TRIP SNACKS

We’re revving up for Teacher Appreciation Week and we want to fuel our teachers with the tastiest treats on the open road. Let’s be sure our educators don’t crash and burn on their journey through the school year. Drop off your snacks and/or beverages at the front desk for us to set up for the staff throughout the week. (some ideas may include: protein bars, bubbly water, beef jerky, crackers, etc!)

INTERNATIONAL LUNCH (hosted by parents)

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we are excited to announce an international lunch! This is an opportunity for all of the teachers to come together and celebrate the diversity of our community while enjoying delicious cuisine from around the world. We invite you to bring a dish that represents your culture or heritage. Whether it’s your favorite family recipe or a traditional dish from your country, we can’t wait to taste and learn about the different flavors and traditions that make our school community so unique.

The lunch will be held on May 8th, 2023 during lunchtime. Thank you for celebrating our teachers!
