KINDNESS MATTERS
Thank you all who participated in our “acts of kindness” this last month. The children made candy bags, wrote messages of appreciation and painted Kindness Rocks to distribute out into the community. Our families raised over 250 pounds of food for the local Idaho Food Bank. That equates to about 167 meals! December may be a short month, but we are still moving forward in the Spirit of giving!

Holiday Giving Tree:
This month we are partnering with “I Believe” to give gift boxes to children enrolled in the Wilder school district. This effort is modeled much like “Operation Christmas Child” which sends Christmas shoe boxes all over the world. However, the efforts of “I Believe” support the local community. Our goal this year is to gather 50 boxes to contribute to the 500 children who will be recipients of this project.
If your family would like to participate, please stop by the Giving Tree in the lobby, take a Shopping list tag hanging from the tree and a cardboard box. On the list will be items needed. Please fill the box with these items and return the unsealed box to the lobby where the children will sort and wrap the boxes to the children.
We are so fortunate to be a part of such a thoughtful and wonderful community, thank you for making this season one of giving!
WINTER IS HERE
1. Winter Clothing. Our school will go outside everyday for recess so it is imperative that you provide appropriate clothing for outdoor play. Winter coats, hats gloves, snow pants and boots are all required for school play. Please label all clothing with your child’s name as you would be surprised how many “duplicates” of clothing we see. Also, please swtich out your child’s “extra clothing” for more weather appropriate wear; time to take the shorts and short sleeve T shirts home.
2. School Holiday celebrations: With the exception of rooms 1 and 7; all classrooms will be hosting a parent invite event this month. Please see your child’s classroom newsletter for details. (December 13th celebrations in rooms 3,4 & 5. December 14th celebrations in rooms 6 & 2)
3. Winter Camp registration open through December 11th. We must have at least 12 signed up for winter camp to happen so please RSVP now! More information about Winter Camp activities will be available in the School lobby.
4. Billing for December is complete. All open invoices are due by the 1st of each month. December credit card payments will process on December 1st and ACH billing will run on December 2nd. Billing for January will be done on January 2nd, ACH will Run January 2nd, and all bills due by January 5th to avoid late fees. Please don’t hesitate to ask Kellie any questions you may have about billing.
