June at Parkcenter Montessori

As we wind down our last month of the school year, we want to acknowledge all the hard work of our students, teachers, parents and staff!   Thank you for making Parkcenter Montessori such a wonderful place to learn, grow and build community.

For those families that will not be participating in the summer camps but returning in the fall, we wish you a wonderful summer!   Fall elective registration will open up in June, so feel free to drop by and sign up.

Summer Camp 2016:  Come Be Great!

Enrollment for summer camp is officially closed.  If you registered for the first week of Summer Camp in July, please make sure you understood that school is closed July 4^th and camp officially begins on July 5^th.   In addition, school will be closed July 1st for summer camp preparation.  Any changes to your summer schedule need to be 30 days written notification in order to avoid financial responsibility.   For any schedule changes, please email lila.afoa@nlcinc.com .

Summer Electives sign up for July and August are now available in the lobby.   Please email Kellie.Stanley@nlcinc.com for any questions regarding the summer elective classes.   Attached is a Chess demonstration class for JUNE 9^th.

Summer Specialty Camps If you have signed up for a summer specialty camp, you will need to complete a registration form for that particular camp.   Registration forms for these classes are available at the front office.

Summer Classrooms  If you are participating in any of the summer camps during July and August.   Please note the following classroom changes.

All 2016 graduating Kindergarten students and returning alumni will be in room 7.

Room 2 & 3 students will be in room 3.

Room 4 & 5 students will be in room 5.

Room 7 & 6 students will be in room 6.

We will have a Summer Camp store available to order additional t-shirts, water bottles, hats, and towels.  A display will be up in the lobby before school is out if you would like to order.

Dates To Remember

June 3^rd:    Music and songs with J.J. Dion

June 6^th:  Last chance to order a yearbook!  To order your copy email Jamie@boisemontessori.com or call the office by the end of day.

June 9^th:   All school picnic!   Children will eat lunch outside with their class and we will celebrate the school’s 15^th birthday and walk around the sun.   Yes, you can still order hot lunch for your child.   Heat ups will not be available on this day.

June 10^th:  Last day of checking books out of the library.   Library will be closed again until September.   You have until the end of the month to return any outstanding books to your child’s class.

June 16^th:  Father’s Day celebrations in rooms 3,6,7 and 2 (see newsletter for times)

June 17^th:  Father’s Day celebrations in rooms 4 & 5  (see newsletter for times)

June 24^th:  Boise Zoo Fieldtrip for Kindergarten students

June 29^th:  Kindergarten Graduation

June 30^th:  Last day of School!

SCHOOL CLOSED:  July 1^st and July 4^th
