Intrinsic Motivation
Intrinsic motivation is a key factor in the success of our children in the 21st century. As educators and parents we are constantly looking for ways to spur on autonomy, competence and purpose in the opportunities we afford our children. Montessori Academy recently talked about this motivation and it’s importance even into the Elementary years. Spring Show: “All about Friendship”- May 4th
Boise Rock School has been working with all of the students on a song performance and selection of songs from the 80s to perform, on stage, with your children. We encourage all students to come and participate at this event.
School will close early at 4 PM on May 4th. This will allow our teachers, staff and volunteers time to set up before the doors open. Doors open at 5pm and the show will start at 6pm. The entire performance will be about an hour and fifteen minutes with our Pre-schools performing first and our Elementary performing last. So, pack a picnic dinner and come enjoy the evening!
All students will be performing! Our theme is friendship. Children will be singing songs, using instruments, and our Upper Elementary has written an 80’s version of the “Illiad”. Please have your children dress in blue jeans, neon colored shirts, and 80’s hair!
Due to size constraints of our venue, please keep guests to immediate family only (Parents and siblings). No lawn chairs are allowed at this event as we trying to make room for all families. However, our PTO will be selling table seating as a fundraiser. Table sales for both schools will open April 18th by email invitation. Pay close attention to your email as it will be on a first come, first serve basis.
