October 2023

A Note from Our Principal

As we kickstart October, I want to reflect on the changing seasons and the wonderful opportunities that await our students. Fall offers the perfect backdrop for learning. Our students will explore the outdoors and feel the crisp air while participating in memorable, seasonal activities. We have a lot of exciting things planned this month, including pumpkin decorating, fall activities, and more. We will keep you updated via Tadpoles and Transparent Classroom. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to a season filled with growth, learning, and fun.

Sincerely,

Michelle Lane-Robison

Family Referral Bonus & Open House

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House on October 21. When you refer a friend, and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Transparent Classroom

If you’re not receiving photos, you can easily change this by logging on to Transparent Classroom. This communication tool will give you access to pictures, work updates, and classroom directories. It is also Montessori-focused and provides you with a database of lesson descriptions that help to illuminate “the why” of your child’s day-to-day learning experience at our school. If you have not yet received your invitation, please double-check your spam. Contact us at the front desk if you need further assistance.

Independence is woven into everything we do at Montessori Academy. This month on the blog, we have a few examples, from infancy through kindergarten, of how our students develop independence as well as the active, can-do attitude it delivers.
