April at Parkcenter
One of the benefits of choosing Parkcenter Montessori is that our school is a nationally accredited program. Currently, our school has not one but two accreditation seals; American Montessori Society (AMS) and AdvancED. The primary goal of our accreditation is to ensure our Montessori program continues to offer quality environment for the students we serve. Just a few of the benefits of selecting an accredited Montessori program are:
- Accreditation encourages continual self-evaluation and improvement of staff professional development and curricular innovation.
- Affirms that a school meets a standard of excellence of Montessori rigor.
- Assures teacher training maintains continual, up-to-date professional development.
For the past 2 years our school has been going through our re-accreditation process. On April 3-5th we are excited to be hosting a visiting team of Montessori leaders from around the country to validate our reporting as well as offer input for our school’s strategic planning for the next 5 years. These visitors are taking time away from their own schools and families to see the wonderful things that your children are doing and talk with you. Please join us in welcoming the team during their stay with us!
